SAES collaborates with the UNICEF Golf Tournament VI

The charity golf tournament for UNICEF took place at TorrePacheco Golf Club on 11 and 12 April

SAES – S.A. de Electrónica Submarina has sponsored, as in previous editions, the golf event for United Nations Fund for Children (UNICEF), leading international organization working to ensure that the rights of children to heath, education and protection worldwide are accomplished. UNICEF bases its work on the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the human rights treaty more ratified of the world.

SAES, following the suggestions of its employees and for the corporate social responsibility of society, carries out this one and other social activities as campaigns to the benefit of rare diseases associations as well as actions to promote sport.

SAES collaborates in the 1st Festival of Wushu held in Cartagena

One hundred children between 3 and 15 years old participated in the event of martial arts.

In the exhibition, held at the Pavilion Cabezo Beaza of Cartagena last December 21, the children showed their skills in Chinese Martial Arts (Wushu) and, later, teachers and students of the San Cai Long Chinese Martial Arts School (Cartagena), sponsored by SAES, Antonio Mateos Sports Center (Águilas) and Heung Chang School (Murcia) performed several demonstrations creating great interest.

In this First Wushu Festival, organized by the Judo and Associated Sports Federation with the collaboration of the Sports Councillorship of Cartagena, exercises were displayed in different modalities, such as Barehanded, Long Staff, Sabre and Sword routines (Taolu), Self Defense and Sport Free Fighting (Qinda / Sanda).
